Birches' Cynthia Grant leads webinar for families of gamblers
Birches Health VP of Clinical, Dr. Cynthia Grant, recently led a free webinar titled "When Someone You Love Can't Stop Betting" with Joe Cannon, who is in recovery from gambling addiction.
Joe spent over a decade chasing bets and burning bridges before finally getting help in his early 30's. As he shared during the webinar, Joe came dangerously close to losing everything through his addiction. Today, he uses that lived experience to educate people through his "Winning Without Wagers" brand on social media, where he's built an active community with thousands of followers.
